Buffalo Sabres bring Bryson back up from Rochester

The Buffalo Sabres have announced that defenseman Jacob Bryson has been recalled from the Rochester Americans.

Bryson had previously played in three games for the Sabres this season before being assigned to Rochester on December 19. During his time with the Amerks, Bryson has appeared in nine games and earned one assist.

In their upcoming game, the Sabres will be facing the Chicago Blackhawks at 7 p.m. However, they will be without defenseman Mattias Samuelsson, who is currently day to day due to an upper-body injury. Samuelsson sustained this injury after receiving an elbow to the head from Vancouver defenseman Filip Hronek in last Saturday’s game.
