Buffalo Sabres call up Levi, send Comrie to Amerks

The Buffalo Sabres made an announcement on Sunday regarding the recall of goaltender Devon Levi from the Rochester Americans. In his place, goaltender Eric Comrie has been assigned to Rochester. This decision comes after Levi’s loan to Rochester just the day before, where he had an impressive performance. Levi made 14 saves on 17 shots, contributing to the Amerks’ 7-3 victory over the Springfield Thunderbirds.

Meanwhile, Comrie served as the backup goaltender to Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen during Buffalo’s recent game against the Tampa Bay Lightning. The Sabres unfortunately suffered a 3-1 loss in that match.

Looking ahead, the Sabres will be embarking on a three-game road trip in California. Their first two games will be back-to-back encounters, taking on the Anaheim Ducks on Tuesday and the Los Angeles Kings on Wednesday. This road trip will surely be a challenging test for the Sabres as they strive to secure positive results and improve their standing in the league.
