A Preview of the Sabres’ Annual Kids Takeover Day

The KeyBank Center will be taken over by the next generation at our annual Kids Takeover Day this Saturday, Jan. 20 at 12:30 p.m. This event aims to involve young fans in the game experience by offering them different roles to participate in. These roles include Jr. Reporter, Jr. Social Media Editor, Jr. In-Arena Host, Jr. PA Announcer, and Jr. Anthem Singer. Additionally, the first 5,000 kids in attendance will receive a youth-sized Sabres bucket hat.

Throughout the afternoon, there will be various kid-friendly content and activities for everyone to enjoy. Kids will have the chance to showcase their best Duffer and Marty impressions at a broadcast desk photo opportunity. Representatives from the Albright-Knox Art Gallery will also be present to engage children in sign making. For those looking for a bit of artistic expression, face painting and airbrush tattoos will be available. To add to the fun, there will be balloon animals for kids to take home.

One of the highlights of the event is the 360 Fan Cam, which will feature a custom Kids Takeover photo border. This will allow kids to capture their memories of the day in a unique way.

Now, it’s time to meet this year’s team for Kids Takeover Day.
