Buffalo Sabres Thrive at Home, Win 4 of Last 6 Games

Happy Victory Tuesday, Sabres fans!

The Buffalo Sabres are coming off a 3-0 win over the San Jose Sharks on Monday. Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen had a fantastic game, making 28 saves and earning the second shutout of his career and season. Casey Mittelstadt, Alex Tuch, and Jordan Greenway all scored in the win. With this victory, the Sabres improved to a 19-21-4 record for the season and a 4-2-0 record in 2024.

If you haven’t had a chance to see the team yet during their six-game homestand, there are two more opportunities coming up before they head out west for a three-game road trip and the All-Star break. The first game is on Wednesday night against the Chicago Blackhawks. The Sabres will be wearing their black and red third jerseys for the eighth time this season. This will be the second meeting between these two teams, with the Sabres previously defeating the Blackhawks 3-2 in overtime on October 17th at home.

Additionally, Saturday’s game will be Kids Takeover Day. Kids will have the chance to take on various roles, such as junior reporter and in-arena host. Keep an eye on Sabres.com for more details about the day, and make sure to follow along on social media for a behind-the-scenes look at this special game day experience.

Go Sabres!
