Buffalo Sabres bring up Comrie, send Levi to Amerks on loan

The Buffalo Sabres have made roster changes, with goaltender Eric Comrie being recalled from the Rochester Americans and goaltender Devon Levi being loaned to Rochester. This announcement was made by the team on Sunday.

Devon Levi had been loaned to Rochester on Jan. 20 and had 14 saves in the Amerks’ 7-3 victory over the Springfield Thunderbirds. Meanwhile, Eric Comrie served as the backup to Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen during the Sabres’ 3-1 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Currently, the Sabres are on a bye week and the All-Star break. They are scheduled to return to action on Tuesday, Feb. 6, when they will host the Dallas Stars at KeyBank Center. Meanwhile, the Amerks have a game scheduled for Wednesday at home against Syracuse at 7:05 p.m.
