Bills and Sabres team up to host local pet adoption event at KeyBank Center

The Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres are teaming up to host a pet adoption event at KeyBank Center on Saturday, May 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The goal of this event is to bring attention to the large number of pets in Western New York that are in need of a loving home. Numerous animal shelters and rescue groups from the area will be present to showcase the pets available for adoption. This event offers the community a chance to explore a wide variety of pets and meet them in one convenient location.

The President of WNY’s Furtastic Adopt-A-Thon, Tina Chaudhry, emphasized that the pet adoption event aligns with the teamwork and community spirit exhibited by the Buffalo Sabres and Buffalo Bills. It is designed to unite rescues, shelters, and pet lovers in a shared mission to rescue and find homes for homeless pets. Prospective adopters will need to bring a photo ID and a landlord’s permission letter if they live in a rented home. Additionally, they should be prepared to cover the adoption fee at the event.
