Buffalo Sabres to Host Fan Appreciation Night on Thursday – Sharpen Up
The Buffalo Sabres will conclude their two-game road trip on Tuesday in Dallas. They will then return home on Thursday to host the Washington Capitals at KeyBank Center for Fan Appreciation Night. Unfortunately, the Sabres suffered a 3-1 loss to the Detroit Red Wings in the first game of the road swing on Sunday afternoon.
As a result, the Red Wings moved into the second wild card spot in the Eastern Conference, while the Sabres dropped to five points behind the final playoff position.
