Buffalo Sabres Uniforms: A Look at the Buffalo Sabres’ Uniforms
The 50th season jersey crest details have been incorporated into the new uniform system, particularly the stitching pattern in the buffalo. The team has a strong connection with the community, so they wanted to reflect this in the design.
Simple white piping has been added on top of the gold stripes, and with Adidas, a new white uniform shoulder striping was developed. Additionally, the jersey numbers now feature two colors instead of three, and the sock striping pattern has been adjusted.
The “B Sword” logo has made a return as a secondary mark on the shoulder, and has been simplified for the new jerseys. Returning to the beloved royal blue was just the start, as the goal was to create something truly unique.
To achieve this, the designers sought to identify key elements that pay homage to the franchise’s history and what makes it special.
