Buffalo Sabres Uniforms: A Look at the Buffalo Sabres’ Jersey History

The new uniform system for the 50th season jersey crest carries over elements from the previous design, notably the stitching pattern in the buffalo. The team has a strong connection with the community, so they included simple white piping over the gold stripes to honor that bond.

Collaborating with Adidas, they developed the white uniform shoulder striping. Returning to royal blue was just the beginning – the goal was to create something truly unique by identifying key elements that reflect the franchise’s history.

The revised crest and jersey numbers now use two colors instead of three, and the sock striping pattern has been adjusted. Additionally, the “B Sword” logo makes a comeback as a secondary mark on the shoulder, with a simplified design for the new jerseys.
