Buffalo Sabres Uniforms: A Look at the Buffalo Sabres’ Jersey Designs

The new uniform system for the 50th season incorporates details from the jersey crest, particularly the stitching pattern in the buffalo, which symbolizes the team’s strong connection to the community. Additionally, white piping has been added on top of the gold stripes, and white uniform shoulder striping has been developed in collaboration with Adidas.

The return to royal blue was just the beginning of creating a truly unique design that pays homage to the franchise’s history. To achieve this, key elements from the team’s legacy were identified and incorporated into the design.

The revised crest and jersey numbers now feature two colors instead of three, and the sock striping pattern has been adjusted. Furthermore, the “B Sword” logo has made a comeback as a secondary mark on the shoulder, having been simplified for the new jerseys.
