Buffalo Sabres Uniforms: An Overview of the Buffalo Sabres’ Uniform History

The 50th season jersey crest details have been incorporated into the new uniform, particularly the stitching pattern in the buffalo. The team has a strong connection with the community, which is reflected in the design of the jersey. Simple white piping has been added on top of the gold stripes, and white uniform shoulder striping has been developed in collaboration with Adidas. Returning to the royal blue color was just the beginning of the design process.

The aim was to create a truly unique uniform that pays homage to the franchise’s history. Key elements that have made the team special over the years were identified and integrated into the design. The crest has been revised, the jersey numbers now feature two colors instead of three, and the sock striping pattern has been adjusted. Additionally, the “B Sword” logo has been simplified and is featured as a secondary mark on the shoulder.
