Buffalo Sabres: Ryan Miller, fellow alumni to participate in ‘Catwalk for Charity’ event on March 15

Ryan Miller and his former Buffalo Sabres teammates will be participating in the return of the “Catwalk for Charity” event on Friday, March 15. The event is scheduled from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Forbes Theater, with proceeds going towards The Ryan Miller Legacy Fund. The theme for the evening is “Black and Red Runway,” paying homage to the uniform Miller wore at the beginning of his Sabres career.

Guests are encouraged to dress to impress in black and red in line with the theme. The first “Catwalk for Charity” event was organized by Miller through his Steadfast Foundation in 2007, to support pediatric cancer patients at Roswell Park. The fundraiser became an annual tradition during his time in Buffalo, raising over $1 million and providing fans with the opportunity to interact with players in a casual setting.

The Sabres established The Ryan Miller Legacy Fund in 2023, an endowment to benefit Courage of Carly patients, as a tribute to Miller’s philanthropic efforts in Western New York. After his departure from the Sabres, Miller remained engaged in charity work in Buffalo through different avenues. In 2023, he was inducted into the Buffalo Sabres Hall of Fame and had his No.

30 retired by the organization. The event will also feature additional participating alumni, to be announced leading up to the event.
